    Thanks to 91TR (aka Steve) the problem on my 91 TR is now a non issue. Turns out that the resistor at the butterfly opening had an open spot on it. Pretty much one of the possibilities that Steve had come up with to check. For the rest of the story check the 91TR issues thread of earlier last week.

    Glad you got it sorted out. I have to say, that compared to the general tone of your first post reporting what seemed like a more serious problem, you got off with an easy fix ;)

    PS Don't give up on F -- most of the time they are worth the (unavoidable) pain.

    Ya, I know.......maybe because you were there for some help. :)
    The F car does have that sound and looks (TRs anyway). On the other hand, the P car has that bad a$$ performance. :) :)
