Talk about growing up, and if you or anyone was insulted by what I said thats beyond me. Back when it was introduced the Ferrari president of then said that the 348 was a "piccola Testarossa".

I don't understand why you are so mad at me, you want to punch my nose, now that only makes me laugh. By the way I can always see me.

You were acting superior, your TR is not a pretend TR like our lowly 348s, that's what you implied. I clearly stated why I chose the 348, and I still doubt you would say to a 348 owner, to his face, "well its a pretend TR". And if you like big asses, get down to New Orleans they seem to have an abbundance of them down there.

^ I wasn't acting superior, I so the thing about the car and spoke my mind. I didn't post stuff like you did towards me, don't judge people by your own image.

I say we all buy it collectively and drive the crap out of it and see how long it takes to break the belts! Maybe that will solve that issue once and for all!

All this conflict. Wow. After going to the website, I know the guy selling this car. Very nice guy. He would probably like to know about all the attention his car is getting. He has a nice 512 for sale too.

You know what I was up in my computer and decided to check what was new in Ferrarichat and came back in here because I felt like I was insulted and challenged by you to some kind of fight over in Florham Park, over an issue that you imagined because of some kind of inferiority complex b.s. you suffer from. Let me tell you something, its to bad that I live so far from you because its guys like you that insult over the net or over the phone from afar, you need a slap in your
face, maybe thats all you can handle.

    Testacojones,

Why do you react like this ?
You have to be happy that Ferrari create the 348...
That the proof that The Testarossa look is right ...
They created the 348 5 years latter than the Testarossa and kept the same overall body...
Don't you think is a compliment for the TR ?

I really like the TR and the 348 too...
Both cars are great and are FERRARI...

Eric, nice update on the Avatar and profile pic. I would prefer your 348 to the one this thread is about, but the 133 mile car is sweet too.

I have owned and loved both a TR and a 348Spider. But, the TR was the superior car by a large margin...plus, it had a 12 cylinder engine rather than the little 8 in the 348.

Thanks a lot BT. You made my weekend! Yeah the 133 mile 348 is very sweet. My wife didn't like the interior color. (She didn't like my Indy pace car vette either). Obviously she is not a car enthusiast like us. Your car looks awesome in your profile. I hope to see it in person one day.

Thanks. I am doing the wheel spacer upgrade this weekend as well as the slick shift gate, chrome shift knob, drilled pedal set and dead pedal, and painted brake calipers.
    See you around.

One advantage the 348 has over the Testarossa for sure is interior. The steering wheel on a Testarossa looks like it belongs on a sailboat or a ship. They fixed this with the 512TR though, which as we all know, was a vast improvement over the Testa.

I didn't react in a bad way, is just that for the price they are asking for a low miles 348 for me a testarossa would be a better car. Given 133 miles is just awsome but for that price one can find a very low miles testarossa also. I don't think the 348 isn't a worthy Ferrari since I loved the 328 which I sold a couple of years ago and as we all know the 348 is a superior car. I didn't make this a personal matter and didn't mean to upset 348 ownwers at all. There are things that I like better in the 348 model than the testarossa, like the interior, also the targa top, thats a little bit cheaper to run and the details that let me see it as a more modern car.

It's just outside of Philly. The seller is in Bryn Mawr, PA though the car may be elsewhere.

This car sure is a time capsule for sure. I talked with the owner about 6 weeks or so ago and he said he would take $65K......Not a bad deal if you want a new 348 TB......it sure looks nice. I saw many many pictures of it. I almost bought it actually....but decided to go with a low mileage 328 instead....I just decided I like the 328 body style.....out of all the Ferrari's I have always just loved the 328. The 328 has always been my dream car.......and the only one I ever wanted to buy....but that is just me....each Ferrari model speaks to its own audience.

Two years ago, I had the choice between a 1989 328 GTS w/ 1K original one owner miles, or a 1990 TR w/ 15K miles. Same price. I chose the TR over the time capsule 328. In retrospect, the garage queen 328 is probably worth more then the TR on the re-sale end, but I do enjoy putting some mileage on the car and the 328 would not stayed so completely perfect if it were driven.

I agree with you, but if the choice was either a 328 or 348 then I would go for the 328, the 328 is a fun car also easy on the pocket and better looking I think.

They should say, "this car hasn't been driven since Vanilla Ice was cool."
