    What is the best resource (online or book) for information on the 308?

    Also, what are there main differences if any, between the 84 and 85 models?

    The best source - by far - is the "search" function on this site.

    There are no differences that make any difference at all. I have to glance in the cars at the fuse cover to even tell which is 84 and which is 85. Either will make a fine choice.

    agree with the Dr except differences between US and Euro models, they're big differences.

    Different cams and less emission eqp. on the Euro models.

    The Dr is again correct, also the small bumpers, less weight, deep front spoiler on most, passing lights, prancing horse logo on the front grill, etc. One of the downsides are the 390 wheels, but a lot of owners go the 16" route. I will the next time the rubber wears out.

    This book should clarify most of your questions, has a lot of stats, and comparisons between US and Euro. The power differences between the two was more in the early years, but only a 5-10hp difference in the 84/85s you are considering.
