F430 in Jakarta

The fastest I went on the toll road was only 230 kmh while still break in the engine ... ... Now already finish the break in period .. so let see if I can go faster ...

Hemm .. you ran slower in KLIA to tollgate ... may I know why? I think that toll road has like 4 of 5 lane width & smooth right?

Surabaya toll road has only 2 lane and so so quality with several bumpy (jumpy) small bridges.

 

It was supposed to be an exercise routine with my wife...the kids were asleep and we snucked out to have some Nasi Lemak at USJ. Then I said we need more miles..hehe and on we went to KLIA at 200ish speeds. Turning back, still leisurely but about 2km later I figured what the heck and nailed the throttle. Yes, 4 lanes and well lit. Got up to 250 thereabouts before the toll booth loomed into view..

 

yeah, Garage is doing pretty well, but their prices are a bit steep.
I would personally do up my car in KL for track purposes,
The exotics,i would just let the local dealers in sgp to deal with.

Start from further north Kelapa gading slip...its a good run...I once sat in a stock Kijang and saw it hit 190-200...gave me a fright haha

 

Wow!! ... 2.7 ltr Kijang? or Kijang with 4AG engine swap?
How about the stability at that speed?

 

Hmm its a standard facotry kijang with stock tyres everything....

Driven by my overweight friend....there were 4 of us and the kijang was fairly stable....I was thinking the tyres would blow anytime and we werent wearing seat belts....the only time we slowed down was at the toll which then continued a short while to Plaza Seneyan...

 

I was told by my firned that is is usual for Kijang to go up to that speeds on the toll, it was a bright sunny day, no cops etc...U might know him....Martin from Wiki Wiki

 

Come to think of it the toll road to airport is abit dark during the night? Plus there are no armco barriers, so u might encounter road kill

Hehe! If Erwin Rommel had access to Motec, Montgomery and Patton wouldn't know what hit them. Imagine the Tigers/Panthers with remapped ECU's and VNT nozzles for their turbocharged Maybach Diesel engines....

 

Stock Kijang doing 190? Is that the new Innova? With 2.7 I presume.
I know for sure the 2004 model cannot go that fast (stock).
Somebody swap a Lexus LX 470 engine in it though
