    Shoulda called me. You HAD to tell him that you'd come to a complete stop at some point before the limit line. Anything else, and you lose.

    The way the traffic courts work is that you lose 99% of the time anyway, given the court prejudice towards the police.

    Actually they win 100% of the time because win, lose or draw, you still pay a court fee.

    Maybe you stopped behind the person immediately in front of you at the stop sign? The driver in front of you stopped past the stop bar and you made your legal stop when the driver in front of you was almost in the intersection??? Sounds good, yes? Proceeding slowly after making a stop is just some extra caution that yu like to use.

    In PA if found not guilty, u dont pay the court costs.

    And BTW, with a few exceptions like reckless driving, intent is not required under the PA Vehicle Code.
