Back to the moon!

There was a TV documentary shown a few years back that presented very convincing evidence that our purported lunar visit was a carefully and elaborately prepared hoaks.
Their evidence Started with the very film itself. There exists on technical film of this nature periodical cross hatch marks called stadia marks. These stadia marks are always behind any filmed image, but on the lunar films of the astronauts on the lunar surface these marks are superimposed over the purported lunar images, with is a dead giveaway for tampered or altered film.
Several other strong bits of evidence showed the American flag that the astronauts planted on the lunar surface waving in the wind, while there is no wind on the moon because their is no atmosphere, but there is in area 51 where the films are alleged to have been faked.
If you dig up old stills which show that famous shot of the astronaut with the lunar lander in the background you will see that the two images cast shadows in different directions, which shows that the sceen was lit from above and from man made light emiting from two different directions.
It gets even more amaturish. If you study lunar photos of the lunar lander by itself you will not see any jet wash creating a mini crater beneath the lander, remember jets had to slow the thing to land, none of this shows on the film when observing from outside the lander but it does from films taken from inside the landing craft.
Geologists have examined the terrain in the lunar photo's and have deducted that the soil and rocks are identical to that which exists in the deep Nevada desert.
It gets better. Do you remember how the astronauts playfully romped on the gravity free lunar surface and drove their lunar car kicking up dirt as they went. It appears at face that they are enjoying the fun of little or no gravity, but in reality if you speed up the films it shows the astronauts running normally in earth type gravity.
Oh! what about the car? They had to leave it behind and scientists who later tried to find it with our most powerful telescopes reported that as hard as they had scanned the landing site, they could not find any sign of the lander platform and the lunner rover. Nanna, Zip! Both were left behind.
There exists between Earth and our moon a belt called the Van Allen belt which contains deadly radiation, enough to kill anyone passing through it. It has been calculated that the spacecraft would have needed one inch thick of lead to have protected the astronauts, as we know this protection was not afforded the spacecraft and for that matter none of the astronauts ever came down with any radiation sickness or associated illnesses.
Do you think that your government would never lie to you? Please warm up your keyboard and explain why you could ever think that our leaders always tell the truth. You are to be silent and keep sending those tax dollars and card and letters, and remember that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

I'm not totally closed-minded on aliens and the pyramids. I consider anyone who believes in the devil/dinosaur bone connection to be mentally ill.

Some extreme fundamentalist creationists of the "young earth" variety assert that the devil created evidence of extremely ancient life and fossil evidence that could be evidentiary of evolution to deceive people into thinking that the earth was not created as described in the Bible. I've actually had the same type of folks tell me that long before the birth of Christ, the devil was at work creating every pre-Christian era religious faith and inspiring the writers of their scriptures.

 

Go to Google and type in "lunar landing conspiracy theory" and read the pro's and cons and get educated. The first thing someone will do is deny the existance of anything other than what the government wanted you to hear. I am sure you believe what the government told you about Roswell, right?

I have no doubt that conspiracies are carried out everyday and well below the radar of Joe Six-Pack, but a misappropriation of gov't funds (in excess of 100B) in the public eye doesn't get covered up for 30+ years.. hell, a misplaced cigar in the White House didn't even last two years.

Gary, we like to work on common sense here-- If you've got some theories that are outside of the public belief I suggest you tuck your tail in between your legs and hang out on the appropriate forums for such things.

Gary...When the put the flag on the moon..the flag was supported in its open position by a peice of wire feed through the top of the flag end to end.

The original space suits which where on the moon are still covered in moon dust, and in storage at the Simthsonian (sp) in D.C. The discovery channel did a who story on them and the restoration to come.

There is still one Satrun 5 rocket on display at Nasa..and under going restoration. I suppose you think the huge amount of money spent was a hoax aswell?

As for the pictures..light reflects in totaly diferent ways in space. Don't expect photos to be like they are on earth, remember, there is no atmosphere up there, and very little garvity. Astronauts even made comments about how you can become easily fooled, by distances etc because of the enviroment your in.

 

It certainly gives pause for thought beyond just cars. The truth should set you free.

 

No I dont believe what the govt said about Roswell, but if the Van Allen Belt is so dangerous then how come ET got through & we cant ?

As for education, I have a BS, a double Masters & I'm finishing up a JD, WHat have you got ?

true, but its funny how similar a lot of it is(procedure wise, not tech wise). That is why i believe we will beat the chinese, theyre using a lot of proven ideas for this mission, the chinese are pretty much starting from scratch..

I would not bet against China. Their govt is much more streamlined and brutal than ours.

There is a lot of lethal radiation in space, but we have had radiation shielding since after WW2. If we had no radiation shielding we wouldnt be able to have Nuclear submarines or Nuclear powerplants. Obviously we have nuke subs & nuke powerplants so we must have radiation shielding

What do you want to know about it? Is there deadly radiation in the Van Allen belt? sure. Do we know the nature of this radiation? yes. Do we know how to shield against this radiation? yes. Do we know the approximate size of the Van Allen belt? yes. Can we plot a course through the thinnest portion, minimizing exposure? yes. Pretty straight forward. I don't know your level of understanding of radiation, but contact with it doesn't instantly kill you. Certainly there is risk, but in relation to the risk of going to the moon, it's fairly small.
