Dont Mopeds have pedals? Mo=motor Ped= Pedals .My old Motobecane, circa 1979 did 50cc pedals to start and pedal like a bicycle(very unpleasant to pedal bike)no license needed to ride
My first bike was a 50cc Garelli Noimatic 2V. Do you ride the bikes at all or is it more a static collection?
Please now, it's a serious question. Having so many bikes taxed & insured would be a pain, but since they're only small, you could use them for pottering about the homestead and never have to take them on the public road?
Hi, I had a Malaguti like the one in the third photo. I had it brand new in 1976 and felt like a king! It was called a `Monte´ I think. It sheared the key on the magneto about 6 times and was sold much the worse for wear when 2 years old. The exhaust broke its mount and was always getting bunged up with oil. I still have a MV 125s from 1976 and a 1964 Moto-Guzzi Stornello 125 Sport but these were bought and restored much later on. Fond memories of my first independance at age 16!!!!!!!!!! Cheers Nick
That makes sense. I have been thinking of getting a really old bike, from 1916 or so. The sort where you've got to pump the oil and adjust the ignition timing by hand. My only concern is getting parts made up - obviously with such an old bike you can't get new spares. What is spares availability like for your lot?
nice collection...I've got myself an ItalJet Dragster, not classic in the true sense of the word but it sure is fun as hell to ride!
Those all appear to me motorcycles, not mopeds? FYI, a moped has a motor and pedals, hence the name... mo=motor and ped=pedals.
i have taken the pedals and arms off just finished this triple Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
