Yeah Frank because it's so easy to tell the Ferrari 360 Challenge cars apart when they're pointlessly circling the track...and banging into each other. A couple of weeks ago at Las Vegas the Ferrari drivers were upset because the company had failed to book the oval part of Las Vegas so they were limited to running in just the infield. Quite a few drivers didn't even bother to show up. I mean, as it were they were spared the indignity of having to run around a mere oval at 165mph and could make right and left turns to their hearts delight.

    Good Grief.

Any racing is going in a twisted circle, you start and end at the same point so by laws of physics you aren't doing any work.

I used to bash NASCAR until I dropped the controller and picked up the car keys and started racing. (Sure its autox, but it puts things into perspective... when I reach the level of what guys like Jon - FLATOUTRACING and Rob Lay are doing I will get an even better perspective.)

Racing whether its bikes, cars, trucks, boats takes utmost skill. Racing with 42 other guys going the same speed as you 2 inches from your bumper takes skill. One mistake could cost you and everyone else dearly, you need to have utmost respect for your competitors. Sure NASCAR may have left its roots, but what racing series hasn't? What makes NASCAR unique is that at any given weekend there are more than 2 or 3 drivers that can win. Look at trucks, Toyota came in last year and now are one of the best. I don't see a brand new team coming into F1 and instantly becoming winners.

Comparing NASCAR to F1 is like asking whether your Ferrari will make a good rally car. You can't compare two completely different series with entirely different regulations and tricks that make the cars go faster.

Everything pales in comparison to WRC. :D

Bring on the snow, the fog, crazy turns, and lets have a party!
