The color of the bonnet / hood look quite similar to the rest of the car, in real.

Hand made, less than 5kg, based on a trofeo hood (dont remember exactly which model), CHF 5200.00, can be painted. The producer have the possibility to distribute any carbon parts for Maserati worldwide (http://www.maserati-car.ch/newsite2004/index.html the web site is not up-to-date).

    Very sharp.

Who installed the carbon bonnet? Is it a Euro only operation or do they simply install the bonnet from a different manufacturer?

I don't mean to hi-jack this thread but I have a brand-new vented hood I bought new from Maserati as part of a deal that went south. It was for the 3200 but is a direct bolt-on for the current Coupes. If anybody is interested, please let me know.

No the bonnet was installed by a local Maserati dealer here in switzerland. The boss of the company own an other company specialised in carbon parts for tuning. They have some partnership with other companies worldwide so they can sale them in US.

FYI the 3200 bonnet is not exactly the same as the 4200. So no perfect match.

The previous car was sold after 126000 km at 35% of the MSRP price.
