Lucky guy!!! That was S/N 003, right? You didn't get a ride in it? Yep, its brilliant. The sound of those V12's racing around that 'track' (or street, not sure where it is) is great, just a shame there was no F40/F50. They jumped from the 333SP to the Enzo and forgot about a few cars.
The Tubi system will make your already amazing F50 sound sensational. BTW, thanks for the laps at Calder, my first run in a Super Ferrari.
Yes, S/N 003. Nope, nobody rode in it- only ONE seat, the drivers! The DVD was updated from the original VHS tape. At that stage they added the 333SP and some stuff on the Dino's. My Favourite car is the Yellow 412P, followed closely by the 312PB. Wonderful cars.
Ah, interesting.....didn't know that. Yep, both great. Some others that stood out for me were the 250LM, 330 P3 and of course the 333SP which just makes a great sound. you don't remember whether you were at a track watching an F50GT1.....something like that would stick in my mind forever!
I touched it once!! Sadly after a couple of years I really had to wash that hand again Also there at the time was a certain 360 Michelotto... Oh, and I <3 the 333sp in VBD-F *swoon*
Hence why you have a Challenge, not a standard 355. Agreed. edit: And yep, most likely not a good driver. My track experience involves disposable cars and speed limits....
You are welcome AHG. It's actually your 2nd go in a super Ferrari though. My 360 N-GT is much rarer, and much more "super" than the F50.
Nah...you're wrong...the NGT is just a souped up 360, no matter which way you look at it...but an F50 is and F50....end of story.
Yep...absolutely...but it starts off based on an F50 compared to a 360...quite a difference, don't you think?
Just found a few nice pictures and story of the 'beast' here Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
yea i agree. yet it all comes down to one thing. They are both FERRARI's It is true, an f50 afterall is........ an f50
I could present a very compelling arguement for the N-GT; but arguing with you is pointless in the extreme. I own both anyway, so who cares!
yes...and we already know that doing a scott involves thinking that "if i own it, it must be good" i'll ask you again in a couple of years when the NGT is well and truly sold.
Absolutely it's fabulous...although, you haven't been in other race cars have you? They're all like that, really. At the end of the day, though, and this is where scott is totally wrong (for once) if you get any one of the 15000 360s and put enough money into it you end up with the very best of and latest spec of an N-GT. There's just no way you can do that with an F50, is there?
You could buy an NSX, pour alot of money into it and have an F50: NSX F50 'Inserts fingers down throat and gags'
