    I'm a new Ferrari owner - I acquired a 1998 F355 GTS F1 in May 2005. I love the car!! I've put on 5300 miles since May.

I was out last evening and tried to use the heater for the first time, as the temperature dropped into the 40's here in the Pittsburgh area. It just blew cold air. The A/C was off (the STOP button was depressed and illuminated), and I set the temperature control the whole way up. I tried the auto settings for vents and fan, and also tried the different manual settings. Nothing worked.

The A/C has worked just fine so far since purchase, so I don't think it was stuck on or anything, as I didn't here the A/C clutch cycle as it usually does when it's operating. Any Ideas, gents?

the STOP button is also deactivating the heater control. The STOP button must be out "up" for the heater or A/C to fuction correct.

Thanks! I'll try that. In my ignorance I thought the STOP button just turned of the A/C compressor.

No when the button is down it means ALL climate controls are turned off, heat and A/C.
