I googled Ferrari and Ferrarichat was one of the first hits. Its gone all downhill from there.
I was on the market for my 328 and found here htrough another web site. Ferrarichat was described, if I remember correctly, as the most knowledgeable community about Ferrari: it was true! Ciao Eugenio
I just bought my 77 and was looking for a website that had technical information available for 308's. I came across this site "ferrarilist.com" which had what I was looking for. So I continued to review it and it started to point to "ferrarichat.com" so I registered and have been still on reviewing the technical info for 308's. That's it. Enjoy the ride
Was researching a certain local 348tb and found fchat. Lurked and learned a lot for a year and a half or so before joining.
I clicked a link on a car designers forums.....wasnt even interest in Ferrari at the time, and now im hooked
Started hanging around the local FoC because I can't afford my own (good way to get close to the cars I love). Couple months later an FoC member refered me via a link on the Utah FoC website.
I met David512 at Concorso Italiano 2004 and he told me about Fchat. I had done a google search a couple years earlier and didn't come across it then. -steve
It was November of 2003, and I had my 355 Spyder for a couple of months. Was yanking off the Tubi to put on the ANSA Sport and Mike at Norwood's told me to put the Tubi on Ferrarichat and it would probably sell. About a week later lawdog had me overnight it to San Francisco as his engine was going back in the next day, and everyone was happy. Been hooked ever since.
I heard about it on other fourms. Took me a while to register since I hated the old layout. I just remember one day it looked like 1756, and the next day I check it, it looks good and is easy to use. From there, it's all downhill. Print ads? Where? Never seen any ... lol
I saw pics of a "P4 s/n 0846 recreation" on Barchetta.cc. So I searched in google and found this site. Martin
LOL - You don't know how much flack we got from the "old timers" like Bruce when we switched to the new software. They all love me now though.
They were talking about the smashed in door on the Art Car, on the Houston Spotters thread, IIRC...... But I stayed to Chat with Peter Goezinya, what a nice guy...... a "three punches for one" Fredericksburg native, I think of him every time I head to New B........heard later he twisted a half shaft in the McLaren....it cost more than either of my Ferraris..........LOL! So I guess I need a "JRV sent me" option, there, Rob!!
Shame I can't remember something from 4 days ago, much less nearly 4 years ago! What I do know is: I'm damn glad I found it! Can't live without it.
I do not have a name, but he loaned the Maclaren to Road and Track for a test.....had the Jesus fish on the back.......Texas tags in the photos... Ask Grady!!!!
Brian Stradale led me to this forum. My first forum experience, too, then. That was before I got 328, and was 2003. Seems like LONG time ago now. Interesting there's not many people who accessed here after seeing f-chat advertisement. I thought that would be the number 1 on the list.
There was another forum that had a link to something here.... that other forum is slow and really dry, forum with another breed of high performance cars, but not exotics. Most people there were from Europe anyway and I was surprised there was even a section for Northern California here because you still don't see a Fcar everyday unless you own one.
