Robert, would you be able to indicate if the estimate range that was discussed here over or under predicting the realised sale value ? Cheers Philip
I think your car is £45k ++ all day long with the low mileage and the year. I know Silver is not to everyones taste, but there will be someone out there for it. Have you not tried sale or return with the usual specialists. verdi etc etc. He sold my last 3 cars that way. They leave the car with you, after taking the pics. Then pick it uop to show buyers. Karl makes it all so easy.
Got the best part of £43k trade. Needed an 18k service, plus various other bits and bobs no doubt, plus tax and MOT expire at the end of the month. That converts to an equivalent, I reckon, of £47k sale price with warranty on SOR at a dealer which I reckon is not a million miles from what it would have fetched. Plus he is coming with a bankers draft tonight. With the economy the way it is, and the fact that the winter is fast approaching, who knows if it would even have sold before april next year...
