I was wondering if anyone has modified their exhaust on their 430. I think the stock exhaust is incredible and in my opinion(hoping i don't hurt too many feelings) superior to TUBI. The sound when I drive the car is just so agressive. I would love to hear of a car with a different exhaust?????

    Thanks,
    Derek

The F430 has a factory Tubi exhaust.

There is no way that's TUBI!

    What makes you say that?
I know for a fact that the new SuperAmericans have a factory Tubi exhaust and I'm pretty sure the F430s have them as well. Tubi does has a contract with Ferrari.

I stand corrected about the SuperAmerica with Tubi. Only the ones with HGTC have Tubi.
I was with 3 F430 owners on Saturday and at least one of them told me that the OEM exhaust on his F430 was made by Tubi.

If you look at the size of the muffler of the F430 and compare it to the 360, it is much smaller, similar to the Tubi size. The sound the F430 is certainly much louder, aggressive and unique. If it is not a Tubi, it is Ferrari's great attempt at a sports muffler. IMHO, I would not be changing the stock muffler until you have experienced it first hand.

I was also asked to leave an Alfa Romeo track day because my F430's OEM exhaust was too loud!

I have asked about Tubi's affiliation with the factory. They do make some systems for the factory e.g. SA, CS etc. What Tubi don’t want to do is to be a mass production OEM supplier as Ansa did a while ago. This will inevitably 'cheapen' the brand and that is not an area that Tubi wish to enter. I also know there are a number of Tubi muffler options for the 430 and not all of them have been released.

great info! The stock muffler is the sexiest one known to man.....there are these little tubes that connect and if you take the off it is even throatier (similar to the CS)

I can confirm the sound from AHG's 430 with std exhaust on the track is amazing, and even better than the F50 at full steam or tubi clad challenge car.
