Whose coming?? theres most likely gonna be a yellow Enzo there!! Date: Sunday, October 09, 2005 The first annual Festa di Ferrari of Stamford is to be held on the beautiful grounds of the Italian Center in Stamford, Connecticut on Sunday, October 9th. This is the first major FCA/NER event to be held in the Southwestern corner of the New England Region, easily accessible by members of the Empire State and Penn-Jersey Regions, all of whom are encouraged to join us. Fall foliage will be in full bloom and the facilities of the Italian Center will make a spectacular backdrop to highlight what we hope will be a large turnout of Ferraris. The Center, known for its great food, will cater a lunch for participants. Food will also be available to spectators. For those arriving the night before, arrangements have been made with the brand new Courtyard by Marriott in Stamford for special room rates and secure, indoor parking. As an enticement to join us on the night of the 8th, we will host an Italian cooking class for the first 12 couples to sign up. The class will be held in a private room at Il Falco Restaurant. Others who dont want to participate in the cooking class are encouraged to join us for dinner in our private upstairs dining room. Il Falco is within a block of the Marriott and is one of the finest restaurants in Stamford. This will be a charitable event primarily to support Twin Meadows Inc. in the building of Boundless Playgrounds® where handicapped and non-handicapped children can play together side by side. If you are not familiar with Boundless Playgrounds®, I urge you to visit their website. http://www.boundlessplaygrounds.org/ The proceeds will also help support the Marine Corps Leagues disabled veterans assistance program and the Bennett Cancer Center. REGISTRATION FORMS ARE INCLUDED IN THE CURRENT ISSUE OF HORSE TALES, or you may request a form to be email to you (or if you have any other questions) by contacting Paul & Darry Bova, [email protected] or (203) 329-9710 http://asp1.walkontheweb.com/fca/ev...ore.asp?id=9639
I'll be there with my 355 Challenge Car (Barchetta Red #23). A strong turnout of cars is expected... shaping up to be a great event. Jason, enjoyed your pictures from the Simsbury Fly-In event and look forward to seeing you again in Stamford.
