It looks much better than the current model. I also wonder if the new engine block will withstand the mods that the current one does.

Agreed, big improvement. Good question about the block, it seems like nothing is overengineered anymore....

hope the interior is upped from the eight and nine a little bit. Then it would be just about perfect.

Finally an attractive EVO, I was wondering if they would ever build a good looking EVO

I miss the 3000GTVR4, That was a great car,

    booooooo!!!!

i hate this concept version of the car. there is another one floating around that has more of a R34 front end. i like that front end much better. but the back on the aforeposted one is hotness especially with that real rear diffuser as opposed to the fake diffuser that come on JDM IX's. there is specualtion that the X might be a TT model, but i dont think it will to keep with rally tradition

but since there is a VIII sitting in my garage right now, i like that one (otherwise i would have bought somethign else). i actually think the VIII lowered with a Du-Luck lip is a very aggressive look, moreso than any other evo made

not the best picture but the one on the left

from the owner of the mitsu dealer in huntington beach:
"According to my 'inside information' The X will be shown at the Tokyo Auto Show as a concept vehicle and the actual production model will be very close to what you see. But............before everyone get real excited, the X is probably 3 years away as an 09 model."
