I did, and he muttered a few words then couldn't get away from me quick enough....he went from being friendly to being ashamed to be seen near someone who "knows" PP.

I'm famous, or more correctly infamous. Not in PP's league; but hey, I'm not as ancient as he is.......yet ;)

Incidentally, that's a wonderful colour scheme. My favourite colour; but unfortunately I'm not confident enough to brave the resale (again). I have had a Blue Chiarro 328 and my Father's Testarossa was also Blue Chiarro. Drop dead gorgeous colour; but risky resale.

you're obviously far too sensible, i can never be bothered thinking 'what's the next bloke gonna feel about my car/chick/job/house...', i'm in it for me.

Well its more your car that is famous, he didn't know your name or anything like that.

So the F430 Spider I saw is Blue Chiarro? I thought it was TdF?

Anyone that has as much money as I have tied up in cars could NEVER be accused of being "sensible". Not even in the same Universe as sensible folks me thinks!

I don't mind the CAR being famous. I'm the shy retiring type *blush*

Blue Chiarro is a "historic" Ferrari colour that goes back to the 60's. Like many Ferrari colours, there are many, many shades over the decades. The 430 looks like Blue Nart in the photo's; but it could just as easily be TdF (hard to tell). The Blue Chiarro from the 1980's was pretty similar to Blue NART, perhaps a shade lighter.

Here are a couple more pics, does that help in determining the colour?

I love the dark blues and blacks, but I think they are a real pain to live with. You can see every scratch, speck of dust etc etc. Very hard to keep clean. Like all love affairs, the more torrid, the more likely to break your heart!

Not really; but my money is still on Blue NART

Cool, though maybe I'll just settle for PP's suggestion of "Simply Stunning". :)

The car/owner will be at the Rally anyway, so I'm sure I can get a definative answer from him.
