Grew up 2 blocks from the house that Ruth Built. As a kid went to as many games as I could sitting in the bleacher seats when they were only a buck. Live in San Diego now, so the Pads have grown on me.
I was originally scared to write this post, Thank you for not HATING. It's just a question. I too grew up in N.Y. so it stuck with me.
No longer in SoCal, but went to quite a few Yankees vs. Angels games. Oddly enough, only Angels games I ever attended. Hmmmm... Coincidence? I think not. Though it seems I've always had a pair of 1963 Dodgers World Champs throw pillows & plain jane Dodger banner, my Dodger game interest got past the whole Giants (Dodgers at Candlestick - SF fans were rudest, ever) thing & was pretty much limited to... St. Louis Cards, whose hat, like the Yankees helmet, is the only base-a-ball headwear I possess. Because, for me, dream World Series was, remains, will forever be Cards vs. Yankees.
We'll see..... If the Angels lose, I'll pull for that series too...although Rocket V. Yankees would be VEEEERY interesting!
Well too bad So Cali Yankee fans. The "Los Angeles" Angels sent the Yankees back home to NY were they belong.
