Ferrari Owners Help Required, Urgently.

IM TRYING TO UNDERSTAND THE BRITISH LANGUAGE HERE

HELP URGENTLY REQUIRED

Hi my name is Jennie Mould and I am the Wales & West Midlands Regional Manager for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. We grant the wishes of children aged 3-18 who have a life-threatening illness.

We have been trying for many weeks now to arrange for a Ferrari to collect a young man from his home in Anglesey to Pwllheli where he will receive his wish. The young man in question is mad about Ferrari's and we know that he wouldn't be at all impressed if we did the usual pick up with a limousine, therefore, to enhance his 'Wish Day' experience we have been trying for some weeks to find someone who can help us but to no avail.

On Friday it was suggested to us that we should post a thread on this forum in the hope that one of you may be able to help us. We have a small budget, enough to pay for our limousine, and I am aware that if anyone is able to help us it will cost, however, we don't have a massive amount of money to spend but will be able to give you the budget we originally have for transport.

If I was in that area I'd do it like a shot. In fact if Jennie knows of anyone who has a similar wish in the South East, I'd be more than happy to help. A very good cause.

 

Would really love to help too but im not in that region either.

 

thought the FOC would have a list of members in that area that might help

 

one of the mods should just move this to UK for her. she'll get much better traction there, and she clearly has WAY more useful work to do than figure out this site's forum hierarchy!

If I was in the area I would help. I have done a lot of children charity work for Wish Upon a Star Foundation.

 

Just spoke to Jennie, to offer and help as i live in manchester its not a million miles to anglesy, the gig is this friday, and i go on a cruise at 6.00 in the morning so couldn't help this time.

Anybody else in the north west region?

 

What about the local dealer or independant - would they be interested?

 

I'm down south on friday so can't make it, has anbody tried any of the others...Stratstone, R&D, AE performance or JMH?

Translation = she is looking for someone to give this a child a ride from point a to b....She is saying that they normally give the kids a ride in a limo, from point a to b....and that doing that costs them money.... so she would be willing to pay an Fchat member to give this kid a ride from a to b, but she can't pay much because they don't budget much for it.

I think most Fchatters would do this for free, I couldn't imagine charging someone for the priviledge of making their wish come true.
