Congratulations! I think you have two of the best Ferraris ever made. The Maranello is perhaps the best GT car ever. The Stradale is perhaps the best street legal track car ever. Enjoy!

    Here you go:

    First impressions; certainly not verbose:

    1. God I wish I could tell people I helped design the CS. Absolutely brilliant performance, balance and forgiveness.
    2. Quiet at cruise with TNT on tap anytime you push the “loud” pedal.
    3. Actually less harsh (ride, sound, feedback) than I had anticipated. It’s still a road car, not an F40 or a racecar.
    4. I need to drive my 550 for a few days to convince myself that I didn’t make a $8K sales tax mistake by not trading it in and filling the spot with an F40.
    5. The seat height is about right for me at 6’, but my wife (drives all of the cars including the racecars) is 5’ 9” and the seat is really too low. I’ll need to find a good solution for this.
    6. At full throttle and at the limit of traction the 550 sometimes feels just a tiny bit out of control due to the weight shift. You are NEVER out of control in the CS. It just hooks-up, and accepts your input with precision.

    Simply stunning.......

I am liking the CS more and more as time goes on. I certainly wouldn't be ashamed to have one in my garage. :) As to whether to toss the 550, dunno that the CS is quite the right car for a drive to dinner, a cruise with a sexy companion, or a long touring-type drive. On the other hand, the whole point of these cars is to wring their necks. So you could happily substitute a vintage Bentley convertible for the dinner/date, and perhaps take a Maser QP (new one, of course) on the long hike. Enjoy.
