Nevermind, I found a way to get the images. I recall after Spa, someone came up with the phrase "Sato'd". Continuing the tradition of covering the crazy Japanese driver's blunders, I hereby present the following. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
They touched, but it is unclear who was at fault. I loved the shot where both of them are drag racing through the mud.
I don't know how the hell he took out Trulli so violently yet continued with his car in one piece, amazing. The guy would be better at a Nascar race than F1, at least he would do what he normally does and rub fenders....
Drumroll: Senna1994 agrees with Imperial83! Getting really cold down here, in hell. I agree though. I liked Sato for his aggressiveness, but there are limits where it becomes plain annoying. I also wondered what the Japanese reaction on TV and in the press will be after their hero in the Honda takes out the opponent in the Toyota.
As good as signed, stamped and sealed! The story is that Honda are going to try as hard as possible to supply the new mystery team customer engines next year. But in return the new team have to give Sato a race seat. When will Honda learn... they can buy a seat but they can never buy victory. Honda continue a waste what they have very little of to begin with... their reputation!
It does bogle the mind, that they go through all this effort and raise a 2nd team just to give a midfield driver a seat. But then again they know their markets better than I do. I'm sure they know the costs involved and they also know the benefits of selling more Hondas (than Toyotas) in Japan and Asia where Sato is a hero. Actually I'm starting to wonder, whether we see a pattern emerging with racing teams running a second team for car/driver development and marketing purposes. After all that's exactly what Red Bull is doing as well. As a fan I like this trend: The more teams and cars the better for the sport and show.
I have been saying that SATO is a complete RETARD since the start. Good to see all the critics agreeing with my first thoughts about the RETARD! Ferrari has a "B" Team next year too... It is called Red Bull Ferrari or the Red Bull "A" Team!
He is the best that japan has produced so far.......... japan need to get cracking with their drivers
I believe the technical term is: Satorpedoed I bet somebody with a paintshop program can make that into a cute pic...
Noone forced him off. He ran out of talent before the first corner. Would somebody please photoshop Sato's face onto Britney Spears' body for the whole "Ooops I did it again" theme here to be complete? At least Ukyo Katayama stayed out of peoples' way.
No child should suffer through this, someone report his parents to the JCPS! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Actually, that's Sato's replacement driver for China. They used the same technology that brought us Mini-Me
That is not quite true ... Klien pushed him wide and then he got on the dirty part of the track and the front would not grip. You could see the steering lock he had on from the incar camera and the car simply would not turn in. Then along came RB and banged his front wheel to 100% ensure that he went off. I will always like Sato ... atleast he gave it 100%, unlike RB and Fisi, etc. Yeah sure he stuffed up a few times, but when you are giving anything your 100% that happens. He should not have been penalised for the MS at Spa incident ... **** happens in the rain and it was for position. I guess though you can only make so many mistakes before you get well and truly up everybodies noses (insert Pizzaboy, Monteiro, etc.). And that is what has happened to Sato. In the end Sato IS fast ... just not able to be consistent about it. Unfortunately he appears to make poor decisions and like Webber (this year) has made some shockers. You only get one chance at F1 for most drivers, so Sato's had his go ... and heck atleast he can leave F1 definitely saying he gave it his all, unlike Michael Andretti, RB, Fisi, Trulli and so many other drivers that while consistent and keep out of trouble were never willing to just go for it, and be the racer that their heart wants them to be!
