He was, great film. I reckon he looks a bit too rough round the edges for Bond though

Great actor for sure, but he couldn't be Bond - he's a norverner:D

Surely Bond needs to be a bit rough round the edges. Perhaps I was in a minority, but I liked Tim Dalton and found Moore and Brosnan a little too polished ...

Jon Pertwee was the Daddy of the Docs, but Tom runs a very very close second

I think Brosnan was the best Bond ! He had everything.

I think this guy will do a good job in a role where there isnt a single person who 'Fits the role perfectly'

I have never got the Dr Who thing !

Agreed.... he was great in that film. Rather under-rated film too IMO.

Yes, Moore and Bronson were too polished, but Roger could do the "lift one eyebrow at a time" thing, which I am fortunate enough to be able to do, and have had wimmin throwing themselves at me for years since mastering the art.....

... so, for that reason I vote Moore, Dalton 2nd 'cos he's the most tough and realistic looking looking, he's the only one I wouldn't pick a fight with. Brosnon: big girls blouse, pouts like Lewis Collins did in the Professionals.

BTW Dr Who, too fcuking scarey to watch...

Surely Connery was No.1 Bond, even if it was just down to how ruthless he treated the girls?

Don't think he has that Bond's character in him but I might be wrong.
