nice to see everything is sorted well done to you both
A suitable car has been found and there's no longer a need to have it stuck. The people involved will post pics and/or a report regardless of whether the thread is stuck or at the top of the forum So basically there's no need to keep bumping it!
Sorry not updated everyone earlier! didn't get back till late yesterday evening and then i was down the pub. Fantastic day had by all and Philip was so happy to see two Ferraris pulling up outside his house! We first went with Philip and his parents to a local quad biking and go-kart centre. Philip and his younger sister went on a hour long treck on the quad bikes and then we had a buffet dinner. After dinner we all had a bash on the go-karts and a great competitive race followed The surprise of the day was a brand new Quad bike that had been hidden in a container on site. Philip was tricked into opening the container to reveal the shiny new (red) 250cc bike for him. Philip really enjoyed the Ferrari experience in Malcolm's Mondial and my 550. Would love the opportunity to do something like this again in the future and sharing the Ferrari experience with genuine enthusiasts has really enhanced my own Ferrari ownership. Was a pleasure to meet everyone involved, will post some pics tomorrow. Mark

Well done lads, it's good that between all the banter and buying and running our expensive toys people are still able to pull out the stops to help other s when needed. Oh bugger I've gone all dewy eyed again.
Hello Everyone, I did try to post a reply on Saturday morning but something went wrong! (most likely me). It was a fantastic day. Myself and Sarah drove behind Mark and Malc towards the house and the first view we saw was a young man standing outside his home, jaw on the floor watching as the two beautiful Ferrar's drove slowly past. His face was a picture. I think he had to pinch himself to make sure it was real. The neighbours were all out on the street watching, or looking through their windows. What an entrance! Mark has given a description of the day, but what he and Malc haven't mentioned is the tremdous part they played. Yeah, ok we can supply the actual wish of a child, namely the Quad Bike in this instance, but that alone doesn't make it a magical experience. Its the support given by people like Mark and Malc that make it special. Thank you both so much, you had a fair distance to travel, which must have taken some petrol, we are so grateful for everything you did for Philip and I know that his parents felt the same. My only concern is the way in which Mark, Malc and Chris resulted in unfair and lets face it, down right dirty tricks whilst on the Kart track! And I still think there are too many badges on your car Malc!! Jennie x
Great result. I think we all wish we could have been there to help Are Mark and Malc allowed to post pictures of themselves with Philip?
Yeah, me too. Would love to have helped out. I can just imagine how excited he must have been. Top stuff, guys
Make-A-Wish have a contract and as the family requested "no publicity" at the time of the wish visit. Mark and myself will need to get the family's permission to post the pictures. If we do we can go ahead.

There are probably a few Porsche owners on a site that shall remain nameless that may disapprove of noisey exhaust videos but.. http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/holden2/img/DSCF0532.AVI
