I like the gunmetal finish idea too. But usually yellow does look good with black wheels...... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks guys I need to crank down the ride height about an inch and try not rip anything apart.I dont want a stiffer ride then the current ride.Thinking about changing tires soon that will be the time.....
Ed the black wheels do it on yellow cars!!!! I think strip and paint my Monzas black new rubber and drop it an inch.....YEA!!! Seems like I NEVER STOP SPENDING MONEY ON THIS CAR....Just did test pipes with my Tubi this summer and rep-laced the headers.....
The reason the black rims work on that Gallardo is because they have the polished lip, otherwise they would look like a black hole. Some cars work with totally black rims and some don't IMO. Also with glossy black rims you have to keep your tires looking super good and shiny otherwise they look too matt compared to the rim. Not that you don't keep your tires looking good as is, but you know what I mean, eh?
Dino is right, the wheel must have a polished lip, otherwise black wouldn't work. For the wheels like yours, maybe brushed aluminum or satin silver paint might work out better... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks like the same brake package on my 355C except my calipers aren't yellow. You won't believe the stopping power. Make sure your wearing your seat belt or else you will have nose prints on your windshield. LOL. Regards, Vern
Ed those wheels are so hot!! Are those the Hamann PG2's or PG3's? Forza ran an article on the Hamann 360 and those wheels look awesome on that car as well.
The wheels are Hamann PG3's, thanks for the compliments! I looked at ALOT of wheels before I decided on these. I didn't want a Reverse drop dish Wheel on the Ferrari, and the PG3's have the regular stepped lip, so it was perfect.
Very nice. I will get a 360 - 6 speed next year to go with my 355 F1 spider and that color should go well on the 360. Image Unavailable, Please Login
