MATT. You speak for a few folks here, not the group, especially when you continue with the Venusone baiting. I'm tired of this crap with the three or four of you and Karen, but it's up to you ALL to either be good FerrariChatters or not. However, you don't speak for FerrariChat, you speak for yourself, and your posts should reflect that. Dave
Dave, Matt might not speak for all of Fchat, but he does speak for us popcorn eaters. Want some? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well SURE!!! I'm always happy to share some with my Fchat buddies. Even MATT!!! DM Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry about her health scare, wife had similar issue. Dave, I used to be merely indifferent about this nonsense. It doesn't seem to be baiting when half of the threads are started by hers truly. Then, she challenges people without follow through. Empty posturing, if you ask me. Matt is less subtle than me, and Erik has compared me to "a brick thru a windshield" IIRC. I actually stuck up for Rob when she attacked him, then backpedalled. Don't remember the thread, but it was a Sunday AM, and total BS. The open challenge remains. Popcorn from last thread getting stale. I wouldn't hold your breath.
Why doesn't Matt just take the challenge on the west coast home turf? Sincerely yours, FCHAT Will the real Fchat please stand up???
I believe Karen has already given her answer on the issue, and I respect her decision not to accept. No need to beat her up on it. Saying the challenge is not legitimate is a bunch of crap, however. I suggested MSR because 1) you'll get a turnout to come watch, 2) Its a country club environment so there is flexibility of scheduling the event and no need to rent a track, and 3) its a technical track that will require driver skill. Remember, I said she could drive any car she wanted. If it were me, I would rent a race prepped Viper from Bobby Archer and use the $2500 winnings to pay for the $50 lodging fee at a local hotel. Here is the track map of Karen's home track: http://www.roeblingroad.com/track.html Do you think me in a 500hp car and Karen in a 200hp car on this track would unfairly advantage Karen? I certainly wouldn't be too worried about it. With that off my chest, I'm content to let the issue die.
I included Karen when I used the term "ALL". It's just stoopid, all this crap. At least in my opinion, that is. Others seem to take some perverse joy in abusing each other here. Just my $.02. DM
I thought this was a board about racecars and racing! Moral to the sad story: If you're going to post a challenge, follow through with it or don't post at all!
uh, not exactly, at least not these days. It's about expensive cars and the folks who own them. Stretch to call it a sad story. Just another case of a bunch of guys getting together to try and prove who has the biggest dick, turning into showing who is the biggest one instead. Hop into your buggy and move along, there's nothing more to see here. DM
Until an empty challenge was made by the #1 boast on the board. True, Especially if that dick is only a figurative one. On that front, you can say that again!
Gee, I guess I must have blinked. What track am I challenged to race at? Here is my home turf if you care to come on down for some Deliverance. http://www.roeblingroad.com/track.html I think the lot of yall should come down to Roebling Road Raceway for the annual Ferrari Club event Oct 28-29 & bring your F toys for a great weekend of track time & fine dining. Maybe you might meet the president of Ferrari of N. America over diner like I did at Garibaldis. If you dont want to track your Ferrari, well SCCA owns the track & there are all kind of club meets. Tell me again where I am challenged to go round?
Oh snap! This is getting good! I got the airpopped healthy stuff ready Image Unavailable, Please Login
Dude, my Voodoo is my Miata Pond. If you cant feel it, never mind. When have you ever danced with the best & won?
Would there be any objections to having it at Roebling Road? Sounds like a fair challenge to me for both sides...
"Drive any car you want and I'll drive my little 911 with 205 rwhp. How about a $2500 wager plus reimbursement of the airfare if I post faster lap times?" That's pretty easy money. Karen, I don't have any interest in this, but if you can wheel a Miata competitively with the SCCA or pro series guys, I'd take the bet, borrow something, and crush the guy. Maybe he's running NOS?
