You got that right. He helped with my little nightmare as well. Now if it will only come back from it's 30K service running OK?!
Gizmology? You get terms like that from breathing mile high air? I remember coming up with stuff like that when I went to CU, back in the dark ages. Don't ask.
Yes....I must also agree...."Steve 91TR" is an asset to all of us TR owners. You may recall he helped me fight the electrical gremlins on my car too. It took a few weeks and many postings....but we were successful. You can just imagine what a dealer would have charged for all the hours spent diagnosing various symptoms !!! I really can't say enough good about Steve....I so much appreciate his help and patience. My car has been great since the "big fix" and totally.....I mean TOTALLY reliable. Not one glitch or hiccup since. It's been a wonderful car! Perhaps we should all do something for Steve to show our appreciation?
How bout we donate towards a gift certificate/credit type thing with an Fchat sponsor of Steve's choice ?
I'm in! PM me on this guys and I'll put it together. Steve, pretend that you didn't see this, and when it comes in the mail, you MUST act surprised!
The guru does it again............BTW, Long time no hear Steve, how's things???? Got a new exhaust and hopefully get it fitted by this weekend. Show you piccies when I'm done. Al
Glad that the problem is solved. Another interesting failure for TR's is one bank cuts out and it's caused by a water temp sensor on the top of the motor at the cooling connection. Mine has failed and the guy that posted this found the problem after the dealer replace the wires, caps, rotors and computer! Yikes, all that for a $68 part! FWIW Jeff Pintler 89 348tb, 86 TR
