HMMM - perhaps just 88 then. My car, an 88 model year with an Oct 87 build date, has one which I keep in the glove box.
I browsed some of my files for newer 328s (88s and 89s) and I don't see that ring on any of them. Maybe it's a Mondial vs. 328 thing?
Well, maybe you are right and I am just brain farting...again. I know I have seen them on the 12 cylinder. In that case, my exclusive Ferrari Horn ring is for sale or trade for 79 512 BB Boxer + cash.
You'll love those pedals. I got a set from Dan earlier this summer and it really sets off the interior. Get a shift knob too. It makes the interior look much more this millenium. John
That's what I thought but there is no alarm on the car and the wire terminated at the fuse block. Go figure?
GAHH called. The center console is ready. 3 days ahead of schedule. I am on my way to pick it up. Pic's to follow. Now all that's left is the seat and door panel redo tomorrow morning @ 9!!!!!
Here are the pic's of the redone center console. There was an issue with the main section. Seems the fiberglass lip to keep the shiftgate from falling through and to help tie that side down was removed and not replaced. They are fixing it now and I should have it back in the morning. Of course, this was all discovered AFTER I got it in the car. Quality of the work was outstanding. Worth every penny.
Pic's might be nice eh? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks a lot.... (bitter sarcasm).... I really needed YET ANOTHER way to spend more money! In all truth, what a great project! Matteo - how long have you owned your 308?
They ended up taking the seats rather then do them in the driveway. The decision came down to the piping and dry time. They should be back next week late. So much for driving this weekend
I was wondering about your piping. I had to tape mine myself. The guy that did my seats said he "would" do it but prefered not to. He said I could tape it, pay him to tape it, or dye over the piping which wasn't an option. I opted to tape it myself and it was a PITA but worth it. John
It really was Jerry's thread that inspired me. He car look so good afterwards that I could not pass it up. Carpet was not that bad @ $811 and the center console sucked @ $1250 but it was worth it, Seats and door panels are going to come to $350 afterall because of the piping and adding the door panels. All in all it took about 3 hours to take the car apart. 3 hours to put the carpet in. Guessing about 1 hour to reinstall the center console when I get it back and about 30 minutes to put the seats back in. The car has been on jackstands for 2 1/2 weeks now and it looks like about another 1 or 2. I have been cleaning and painting the underside in my down time.
Tony, the guy from perfect touch is going to tape the seats and spray the piping and repair a couple of sections. Then he is going to tape off the piping a couple of days later and then spray the seats. That's why he did not do it in the driveway. I am sick as hell so I am not worried about getting it done in a hurry. Matt
