Some guy who built the world's largest pasta empire during the day and fights crime by night. Or so thats what I heard....
Really, for real Details please. I always love reading about success stories!!! Hello Manuma, please share. Cheers, Vasco
F430 with black wheels...? Can we see pictures...?!? Also, is your father's Enzo on the Enzo register...? If not, can you tell us the serial number...?
Carbon, here are some pictures of his beautiful F430 http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=134880992&postcount=1
if i remember correctly he posted here videos of him in 360CS vs his brothers f430 on track and also i think he posted enzo video of him test driving it.
damn John you got mad connections, was wondering about just that the other day, too bad not more in TDF...
A very reliable source of mine just returned from business in Maranello and while there he laid eyes on 29 cars in production in approx. the proportions of colors described here. He went into another building unescorted and saw another 20 complete cars and as he described "many were blue, several were yellow and one was Rosso Dino". A few seconds later a very agitated factory worker found him there, escorted him out and asked him to forget what he saw. 20 + 29 + 1? prototipo = at least 50 examples.
Those pics remind me of the "old" days in the Ferrari factory. I wonder if they're working on the FXX with a cigarette hanging out of their mouths as well. If this pic is correct: My little brain say's that the real number being produced is going to be 1,163 and this is car 65 of that 1,163. Could they have enough buyers for that number? NNO, how many Enzos have been sold to date? They certainly were able to sell that many F40 back in the 90s. I have no doubt that they'd be able to do it today as well. As many feel that this is the car that should have been build in the first place, rather than the current Enzo, I’d imagine many buyers who weren’t too happy with the initial design and who were on the fence will jump in.
How did he count twenty cars in a few seconds? Also, has he seen those cars in the pictures posted? It would be neat if true, but it doesn't make sense.
Manu's a good guy, he posted some great videos in this forum. His site - http://homepage.mac.com/manuma He told me some time ago he was making a new video, although I havent heard anything since. Im hoping it will feature the FXX!
One guy says the FXX best laptime at the Monza track is 1:47.00, and said that the car wasn't in perfect condition yet. Another guy says the FXX best laptime was 1:41.00. For comparaison... The MC12 GT1 race car (in FIA GT) took pole position with a lap time of 1:45.699 in qualifying 1. Test session at Monza (FIA GT) MC12 GT1 got a best time of 1:44.596 in free practice 4. Ferrari F2005 best laptime at Monza during this years GP....1:21.721 in Qualifying (Schumi). I don't know what to beleive about the FXX.
Wait, are you saying 1163 FXXs? There's no way that many would sell. If there was only a market for 399 Enzos and this is based on the Enzo, I don't think 700+ rich people who probably aren't even interested in cars except for the status they'll get from having one would buy it. Plus I'm sure the FXX would be even more exclusive than the Enzo since it's better so they would build less. How did we get from 25 to 1163? I think I'm just really confused on what you're saying.
Counting to 20 doesn't take that long ... Can you imagine how excited you would be to find such a place? I think the first thing I would do is count how many cars there were.
looks to me like they are making 65 examples all with chassis #'s 411XX, the tub in the photo would be #63 as in chassis 41163... Just my opinion
