Ok. It's not really my cluster. But thought you guys would get a kick out of it anyway. Image Unavailable, Please Login
it has a power meter on it? 1001! wow that must be hard to tear your eyes from while is bouncing from 400-500-600-900-1001!
I believe, that a C5 Corvette functions somewhat like the F50. I believe they have KMH and MPH listed on the speedo, and when switched to KM/H the needle starts following KMH (obviously) and they are lit and MPH are dimmed. So that shouldn't be right still, since the max mph and max kph are at nearly the same place so either way, pegged @ 3k rpms.. That's how it is on my friend's.... I don't remember if its an '00 or an '02.
Hey you two... Look at the photo. The white tips on the needles are the business end. The speedo needle is pointing at 100, not 200. I assume this photo of mine (real) will be put through your scrutiny as well: Image Unavailable, Please Login
They were talking about the Corvette picture in post #18. I'm sure the 308 picture is real (100 KmH at 3K is about right), although he needs to see why the oil pressure is so low.
Not a F-car, one of my cars starting up, a revving a little. It's a American V8, so if you don't like them, don't bother. But if you do, it's a 5.7 Liter LS1 with long tube headers and a full exhaust. http://www.highperformancecars.com/blucamss/dscn0352.mov
Whoa. My bad. The Vette cluster is obvious for sure. Hey BluCamSS... I put a '02 LS1 in a Porsche 944. 2650 pounds, and just about 600 HP with the procharger blower. Not a bad little motor, but curse that plastic intake (wont take a lot of boost). Dont ask me how I know...
They make a few aftermarket intakes now, from Holley and the best ones are from FAST....there are LS1's in the 8's with this intake.
Yep, I just have not had the time to install it yet. Then the sky is the limit on the boost pressure (well... at least once).
I wouldn't go back there if you gave me a million bucks. I have so many reasons I'd never get into them here....
