Do any of you F40 owners notice a harmonic type vibration or buzzing in the shifter area around 2500RPM? I rode in a friends car and he said it has always been there. Just wondering if it's common to the breed.
I noticed an occasional buzz on idle and around 2000rpm....I lifted up the rear hatch and traced the sound to a loose heat shield fitting over the exhaust...that may be what you are hearing. Jas
Rick, Nothing out of the ordinary at 2500 RPM, but hey I'm usually above 4000 so now you've got me thinking....
