Bought a tuner and some new strings for mine when on me lunch.

 

it's a floyd rose, you can't mess about with different string gauges

 

I thought you were a guitarist. 9s? 9s? Them are girly strings!

I dunno; the youth of today; Floyds and 9s? Are you scared of tone? get some 11s, man, and at least a 1mm pick.

 

if you change the gauge then the tremolo will go off balance, and I find that more than .73mm picks don't give me enough control during those whirlwind solos

 

Where in the engine bay of a Ferrari would I find the guage and the tremolo?

 

well they are very highly strung so no doubt they'd be there somewhere...

 

Well screw in the balance springs; thats what they are there for. On second thoughts, if you change your gauge, pass it to a tech.....
