    Just a thought, but would the FFX be eligible to run at the Le-Mans 24 hour?

    If so, what class would this be in ?

    Big question is, would Ferrari do it ???????

    yes it would be eligible, and most likely NO, Ferrari won't do it.........not worth it to them, they don't have anything to prove to anyone.........their main focus is F1..........it'd be nice to see the FXX there, i suspect it would absolutely dominate....
    on a brighter note, you'll probably see a few CGT's.....now that they're in a few racing programs....:)

    The ACO wouldn't let the MC12 in, and I don't think there are enough FXXs built to satisfy the homologation regs, are there?

    It depands from the class. Check the last Benteys , Pescarolo or Audi R8. These are not production cars....(just running prototypes )

    What would be the point in using it at Le Mans? It's not what the car is made for... and btw. why take the chance to destroying a unique kind of machinery?

    its a car, its ment to be driven, and these people buying them have so much cash that if it broke they have enough to fix her back up....

    Tell that to the wonderful owners who allow their ultra rare GTO's, LM's, GT40's etc to race at events like the Goodwood Revival????? And, they're more unique than the 25+ FFX's out there and worth a tad bit more, in most cases.

    A car is meant to be driven. You can't tell me that the lucky few who'll have a FFX, will not want to drive it in anger ??

    Interesting to note the comments that the FFX would wipe the floor. Maybe it has the performance, but does it have the legs? I would like to see Ferrari run a car in the event. Make the sport more interesting and provide a good technical test bed for reliability of the product. IMO.

    Right, and does the FXX come anywhere near to complying with P1 or P2 rules? No, of course it doesn't. It would get absolutely slaughtered by the Zyteks or the new Audi R10.

    In fact, they're building 27 of them, but as they're not road legal anywhere in the world they're not eligible for GTS or GT, and FFS, what do you all think they built the MC12 for?

    The FXX is an ego stroking exercise for people with more money than taste who want to pretend they're Ferrari test drivers. No more, no less.

    When was the last time a factory built Ferrari race car was any good in sportscars, btw? The 575GTC is still outclassed by the Prodrive 550s, the 360 GTC gets it's arse handed to it by Porsche and TVR and I don't see the MC12 challenging Corvette or Aston Martin for GTS wins.
