The details of my life are quite inconsequential.... very well, where do I begin?
My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet.
My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament.
My childhood was typical: Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really.
At the age of twelve I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum... it's breathtaking- I highly suggest you try it.

Consdering I am one of the poorest here,

I work in a basement for next to nothing, was in a band for 22 years, never got any money for that, but someone did! I wanted a Ferrari since age 11, never had or wanted kids, saved all my life, got married bought a garage with a small house attached, and do all the work myself. I may never afford another Ferrari but am very happy with the one I have and would not trade it for the world.

Since the goal of the government is to destroy the middle class, I may be a dying breed, however ther is no doubt that you can have as much, if not more fun in a 20,000 dollar Ferrari as a 200,000 one. It just depends on your priorities.

This is a funny thread- stupid question with some very funny "answers". But if your story is "true" Robert, that is very cool and it looks like you have one sweet, award-winning f-car.

Me- read my profile- I for some crazy reason tell the truth there (note to self: fix that- b.s. more...)

    I 'do' strippers...

but when I have spare time I produce horror films and run a collectible toy company.

    But mostly I do strippers...

I think Miguel was serious when he asked what people do for a living. He probably has good intents to want to better his situation and was looking for ideas. I have to give credit to the ones who answered honestly. Maybe if you are ashamed of what you do it might be better to say nothing and let the thread die.

I think everyone who asks this question is serious. The only problem is that it gets asked every week and people get tired of answering it again & again. Search will help.

The "silly" answers aren't even that silly. Pick almost any career and you'll probably find an owner here that can legitimately claim it.

Some even find the question rude, though many don't.
