This was my point in a thread I started a while back. Just seems suspect that they were able to turn it on enough to sneak into third. I'd be very surprised if this year is a repeat performance in '06. One other thought, as competitive as Ferrari is, don't you think it's weird that everyone just shrugged it off and there wasn't any real dissention with the players who plan to carry on with the team?
Like has been stated before, Toyota gave away points to Ferrari by not starting the USGP. Toyota were generally better than them most of the year. The final points tally is a bit misleading. They really should have been forth in both championships
The USGP points should have been thrown out period. What a joke that was, that was not a race. The joke part really is that Montoya was 4th in the Championship considering the car he had.
True enough but Montoya had some pretty bad luck as well as some brain farts. When he was on and the car held together, he flew.
