how many enzos are u allowed to own?

When purchased new, I have no idea who was allowed to buy what. Who's to stop someone from buying up all the used ones possible, though? It's not like Ferrari can stop someone from buying them once the cars are in the used market.

 

I'm not sure either, but I'd imagine it would be only one. Would Ferrari not want to spread around their supercar to as many people as possible (in this case 400)? On the same hand, if Ferrari built 400 and only 10 guys wanted them I don't think they'd have too much of a problem giving those guys extra ones. Or at the very least offer Ferrari Employee Pricing for the Enzo and perhaps 0% interest on financing for the first 36 months?

 

At the present time, they are all bought from Ferrari, so Ferrari should not hold the right for how many and who can own them, correct??? so, I guess if you got all the money, why not???.... but then, why?

 

What if you were a guy like the Sultan of Brunei though. I'm sure they'd let you have 10 if you paid the right price...

Although, side note, I heard Brunei might be in trouble...

 

Ferrari sold the Enzo to selected costumers and I assume Ferrari allocates one Enzo to every selected costumer.

The Sultan was here in Bangkok many years ago. He was in the Oriental Hotel for a few hours short stop, I heard he tipped all the guys, door man, waiters, waitesses,... all together over $US 100,000.

at least a few ppl (maybe only a 2 or 3?) bought 2 enzos new.

I read in the Wall Street Journal that yes even though the price of oil is going up, Brunei (the place) might be running out of oil. He spends so much money on his people it's unbelievable, he is a really generous ruler. He pays for like their health care and buys them cars and things but he will have to cut that down.

 

The Sultan gets his wealth from natural gas, not oil.

He had his brother melt the national monetary reserves a bit and there was some other nsaty financial stuff.. its not all due to oil.

 

There are several people, who bought 2 Enzo new from factory.

 

How do you know this as fact? I personally spoke to Benny back in June and he was still holding at 2.
