328: Will '89 spare tire fit an '86?

    My '86 came with a full-size spare; I'd like to replace it with a space-saver. I have a lead on such a tire and wheel that came out of an '89.

    Since the '89, with ABS, had a different wheel design, did that also affect the space-saver spare? Will this '89 spare fit my '86?

    I looked this up in my spare parts catalog. The spares are different on cars after the suspension change (#76627). This does not mean they absolutely can't be used on earlier cars however. Don't know the answer to that.
