What does it matter if I own a F-car or not? I can fill in my profile with whatever I wanted to like some others. My point was it's a stupid thread, all the others have blown up. Plus you make no point....better in what way? HELLO. Yes, I'd take the F355, but the ZO6 will out perform it in everyway.
I said 355 vs 2006 Z06, That means which would you rather have, or which one is better for you, or which one do you like better, or which one would you take over the other. So, WHICH IS IT? That's it, everyone has a SAY.
I would personally take the new Z06 any day of the week over the 355. the 355 is nice, but something abot the Z06 is getting to me.
Well it depends. Most likey for a toy the F355. If I wanted a track car, or a car based just on performance I'd take the ZO6.... There both awesome cars. Just different.
As a matter of fact I have.... My bosses brother has a silver Z06 and my uncle has a '97 F355 manual.
Abraham, I owned an NSX and changed it for a 355. The NSX was one of best sports cars I ever owned, much more comfortable, much smoother and easier to drive, almost as fast. Saying that I would much rather have the 355 as it made my heart race and it was much more satisfying to drive. I also respect and appreciate the Z06 and am seriously wanting to have one, performance wise it is much more comparable to the 430, however I would still take a 355 any day of the week. There are certain elements of a car that are hard to quantify. The 355 felt special, hand built, the Z06 doesn't feel like that inside, although its performance blows away the 355. So for me the 355 still wins.
I have NSX as well, I understand what you mean. I went to a 348, then went to Viper GTS, then went to 355, and never got rid of anything. None of those cars you see is like a Vette. On the way to work I see 10 Vettes. If that's what you want go get it. I don't think anything BLOWS AWAY the 355...................................
The vette is definitely best bang for the buck in performance. It'll undoubtly out accelerate and maybe out handle the 355, But I would still get the 355 . The Vette is a car that lacks craftsmanship, novelty, attention to detail, uniqueness, and the orgasmic sound of the Tubi.
Z06 is the best Bang for the Buck, as a new vehicle. If I were going to spend 80k w/ TTL. It would not be a 2006 Z06...........
I'd seriously consider the Z06, but only because I'd still have an F. Giving me both beauty & beast. Without that, I'd probably pick the 355. I was test-driving a C6 vette (not Z06) and I wasn't make real enthusiastic noises, so the salesman began asking me what I thought, what did I drive, etc. I answered and he said, "oh well, I'd pick that over this too". Needless to say he didn't get a sale .
It's not which I would *rather* have.. or some ridiculous benchracing. It's which I have.. 2006 Z06. Sitting not 30' from me in my garage. The F355 is one of (if not) the most beautiful Ferrari ever made, IMHO.. Mechanically, it doesn't thrill me. ... and YES, I've driven them. The F1 system in the F355 is an abomination. The F360 is better... F355 has too many "issues". I simply do NOT like the looks of the F360 and F430. I hold no aspirations to be Batman If Ferrari had put the F430 drive train in the F355.. I would own one. They don't. Hence I don't. JC
