    My drivers side seat will not longer lock into the track. It seems the lever has no more spring to it so I am assuming a spring broke somewhere. Has anyone experienced this and could tell me how to fix it?

    my 308 did this a long time ago, i removed the seat along with the rails from the car, flipped it upside down and fixed a bent locking arm with some pliers.

    Remove the seat so you can look at the mechanism. The way to remove the seat is to first have the seat go all the way forward on the tracks so you can get to the two rear track bolts. Use a 6mm allen to remove them. Then slide the seat all the way to the rear and remove the two front track bolts. If you have a GTS car, take the roof off first to make getting the seat out easier.

    WAIT--dont remove the seat yet----

    when most people grab the mechanism they PULL UP an not twist down.
    You have likely pulled up on it soo much that the TOOTH is noe ingaging in the rack under the seat---i did this too---you may need to twist is 360 back around to reset the spring then push down hard on the bar bending the flimsy little brace back down and VOILA------- all done

    mine was stranger, i had the external bracket that allows the seat to fold forward come off of the retaining pin on the track guide. it uses a circle clip and it came off, in combination with the screws getting loose. re-attached the bracket in less than a minute. this ovcourse on a mondial, might be different if you dont have back seats.
