Like the taste of bad diet cola, T.O. is back.

Here's hoping that the Eagles stay strong and keep him suspended/deactivated for the rest of the season. His apology and his agent's statement are just nauseating.

I hear you, man - he was a pain in San Fran as well. At least now we can stink in peace. It was a bittersweet moment for 49ers fans when Owens realized he had missed the Free Agency deadline in 2004, thus allowing the 49ers to get a little something for him in that deal with Baltimore.

I commend the Eagles on their decision - from what I read, they don't care what happens at arbitration, they'd rather pay him to stay away than allow him back in the locker room.

If an organization gave me almost $50m to catch a ball for a few years, I'd be shining their shoes, washing their cars, and mowing their lawns every week. How can you possibly be such ****** in a situation like that...

If he does play next year, he will be on a short leash. 1 year performance contracts, etc.

I just caught the last few minutes of a "NFL Films" show in which they miked T.O. and he summarized his entire life in football:

    "I love me some me."

I, for one, hope he gets picked up by another team, preferably in the same division.

After all, I've never seen a blitz on a wide receiver... I can hear it now... (Joe Theisman-like-*snap*)
