    1st....'96 355 GTS
    2nd....'98 355 F1
The reason was that the deal on the 355 F1 was too good to pass.

3rd....'99 360...owned it for 3 days before the F1 went crazy, returned the car to the dealer with full refund

4th....'87 328 GTB with Koenig body...what was I thinking!!?? It was fun though.

5th....'93 512TR trade the Koenig+NSX for it...worth both cars a more...very nice to drive and own.

6th....'04 Challenge Stradale.. what a car!!!

I never keep more than one F-car at a time due to limited budget and time to enjoy them. Come to think of it, I couldn't believe I have owned 6 F-cars already.

Thank's everybody so far for the responses. Very interesting.

I expected the usual V8 to faster V8 or V12 upgrade, but see that also the opposite happens with people starting on a V12 and going to a V8 etc.

Well, my 3rd was your car. My 4th was another '87 328. My 5th is a '94 Carrera 2, and the 6th? Probably another 328. I'm thinking an '89 GTB this time. :)

I'm taking bets on how long it takes Augustine to get another 328. The clock started the day he bought the Porsche.

This is like THE PRICE IS RIGHT - you have to get as close to the correct answer as possible, without going over.

My bet is April 8th, 2006. My logic is that he's already gone through the business of owning a Porsche for a week and flipping it for a 328, so now he's going into this Porsche for the long haul, which I interpret as 5 months.

    Gentlemen, enter your guesses.......

1st: '73 246 GTS (chairs & flares)- a beautiful car I rarely drove, so I got the 2nd one with the intent of actually using it as a good-weather driver.
2nd: '75 308 GT4- ended up never driving it either, so eventually it became a track event car (after some mods) for some years before being replaced by the 3rd one.
3rd: '93 348 tb Serie Speciale Challenge- eventually sold the others and this is the only one that remains- a (sort of) streetable track car.

    1st 79 308 GTB - still have
    2nd 82 BBi, love it.

Augustine will finally keep a 328 if he ever buys one that hasnt been cut in half and welded back together.

LOL! It wouldn't be of any use till then anyway, right? I mean, you are going to be busy trapping for pelts and stocking up on meat and firewood for the igloo, aren't you?
