    Just wanted to share this.

    It's a vintage 1955 Ghia information sheet on the 375 MM (only 1 car built, S/N 0476AM),

It's a rather lage, stenciled sheet with the specifications of the car in Italian and a B&W photo of the lateral view design drawing stapled to it.

The car's full history is known and the last time that I saw it in person was at the 2002 Gstaad auction.

but the styling is a bit too much and "fussy" for my taste....yet I much rather own this than a more modern, more expensive Ferrari..

I have ZERO interest in cars like the Enzo

Fascinating car. like many Ghia designs of the period. Part italian and part American. Certainly not the most beautiful Ferrari opf the day but easily one of the most interesting.

The 375 MM's are outta this world, especially this one with the long nose impression and that color scheme. The interior is also the same color blush.

This car was on the block a couple of years ago.

What I liked best about the car was that it was so "untouched".

It REALLY breathes the 50's atmosphere in which it was created and driven.

It is definitely NOT in pristine condition but has the most beautiful patina I have seen in years on a car of that age.

I hope it remains with owners that will maintain that patina and not restore the hell out of it.

Financially, it is FAR beyond my current reach but would I have the means, this would probably be THE vintage Ferrari that I would try to acquire.

    Hi Marcel,

do you know why Erich put it up for auction in 2002?

No need to elaborate if it invades privacy.

    Best,
    Jack

Yeah when Simon opened the door for us a real fifties smell escaped from the leather upholstery. The color is also not as bad in person as it looks on some of the pictures.

That car is gorgeous. I hope they keep it original. It does'nt need a modern cosmetic restoration. Keep it original.
