    fwiw - are you sure $6.25 is the correct fee for international $500 ? or does it not matter? I'd hate for the guy to be told right away at the WU office that it's a fake from looking at the dollar amounts alone. I'd like it to look legit to the WU guy so the WU guy would tell the scammer to come back tomorrow after more research is done...

    Nigerian Letter or "419" Fraud:

    ... The scheme relies on convincing a willing victim, who has demonstrated a "propensity for larceny" by responding to the invitation...

    "If you receive a letter from Nigeria asking you to send personal or banking information, do not reply in any manner. Send the letter to the U.S. Secret Service or the FBI.

    If you know someone who is corresponding in one of these schemes, encourage that person to contact the FBI or the U.S. Secret Service as soon as possible."
