How come there's been no new posts regarding the stolen Tommy car? Someone's gotta know something. How can this just go unnoticed. It seems like it's become yesterday's news - that reeks! My heart goes out to the owner, I'd be going nuts. It seems like all of the posts relative to this unfortunate event were posted on that day 10/26, & the next day 10/27. It just ended there. Nothing of relevence that's new. No new pleas, no new discussion. Whuz up wit dat? Step up. What if it were your car? There is a reward, but, even if there wasn't . . . . . . . . Kat of Kevy

Hello. Unfortunetley, i was just leaving town on business when this all happened, so much of the work and discussions have been over the phone with the police, FBI and such. Typically we are very private people, so we are trying to be thankful of everyone's help in trying to find the car, while also tryig to maintain some sense of our personal privacy. A tough act after all the press. Going forward we are trying to continue to focus on the CAR, not the OWNERS. The police are still working on it, the FBI is incolved and the insurance company has hired a PI. I have also offered a reward. At this point, it appears that it will need some sort of a lead to find it.....

    again, thanks for your help

Yes, was located in Merrimack, NH in a storage bin that belonged to a young MA guy who ran a chop shop. Was found by luck. They were investigating him on another issue, cut the lock on the bin and whalah - a 1995 355-F Ferrari Challenge. Just happened to be the one stolen in NH last fall. The news station (WMUR News 9 in NH) stated that it hadn't appeared to be chopped, nor did they think that it would be.

Ferrari Reported Stolen In Fall Recovered In Merrimack
Discovery Made After Man Charged With Running Chop Shop

    POSTED: 6:16 pm EST February 21, 2006

MERRIMACK, N.H. -- Merrimack police got a surprise on Tuesday when a bust of a suspected chop shop led to a pricey Ferrari that was reported stolen in the fall.

The 1995 Ferrari, worth between $75,000 and $100,000, was discovered in a Merrimack storage unit following the investigation of a man suspected of stealing other cars and selling their parts.

Police said that Morgan Kipper, 26, of Massachusetts was charged with running a chop shop out of several storage units. Kipper was accused of stealing five Subaru Imprezas, at least one of which came from Subaru of Milford in December.

Police said that the parts from one car could fetch $9,000 on the black market.

"He was using a series of storage units, taking apart vehicles and then transporting those parts out for resale," Lt. Mike Dudash said.

Kipper and his girlfriend were arrested Monday night after leaving the storage facility. Police said that while making the arrests, they found a cell phone that contained pictures of the Ferrari that was reported stolen from Plaistow in October.

Police said that they believe Kipper and his girlfriend took the Ferrari from a lot and drove it to the storage locker, where it remained until it was discovered Tuesday.

"I know everybody's pretty happy to recover this vehicle," Dudash said. "From what I've been told, this is one of only two Ferraris in the world that are street worthy."

The owner of Ferrari lives in New Hampshire and could not be reached for comment. Police said that they believe Kipper had no intention of chopping up the Ferrari.
