My wife was only too glad the F1 season is over. She can't motivate me to do any DIY jobs.

Oh how Sunday nights are better with TG etc... Makes going to work the next day so much easier.

 

I was reading in the paper today about this, it did say who was the fastest by a long way, i cant say though it will spoilt it for you. yes as ufo said sunday is worth getting up for again.

 

Has the potential to be a far more interesting race than any recent F1's. Is qualifying televised at all?

Would be great if they could bring Murray W back (along with the Fleetwood Mac theme tune )

between a1 masters and the manufactures breakaway plans I bet the banks behind F1 are getting a bit nervous

 

I thought Murray was commentating for the race.

The on board coverage during qualifying was great, especially Mansell. Love him or hate him, he's entertaining. Emmo at 58 on the front row!

 

Well, they must have heard you! Got both of those and although the cars look a bit slow (compared with the bullet-like acceleration of an F1 car) it will still be a massive hit. I love the no driver aids and slicks rule + all the cars are ballasted up to an equal weight.

With 70000 attendance for the race in a country where money is tight for most folks, it bodes well for when it goes to more affluent countries. I'll certanly go to the UK round wherever it may be (Donington please..).
