I just picked up my stradale and when I was driving it home, the transmission icon came on. I drove it back to the dealer and they found that the relay that allows the car to go into reverse was bad. They switched it out and I was on my way again. Not 3o miles down the road, the light goes on again. Another 20 miles goes by and the light goes out. It did this one more time in the next 20 miles and it has now been about 150 miles without the fault light going on. The car is reversing fine but I'm afraid that this will happen again.
Anyone hear about this or have it happen. When they checked the transmission it was fine and did not need anything ( pressure was good). BTW- when the light came on it was steady, not flashing. As long as the light indicated a fault, the reverse did not work.

    Help.

Never heard of such an issue but it seems rather minor. It probably is a case of loose wiring or something of the sort but to have peace of mind, if I were you, I would visit the dealer again and make them look at it to solve the "problem" once and for all.

My car did this also during the first 1000 miles or so, then never again. It may be a "training" period for the computer to fine-tune the F1 based on the output of sensors. BTW, it only happened to me on start-up. If I shut down the car and re-started, it went away.

Check your F1 transmission oil level. Located on bottom right of the engine.
