Keep the 360 Spider. Fit an ECU, GruppeM air intakes & 19" CS style wheels or go the whole hog and get a CS.

Anyone done this...? I'd appreciate any thoughts or comments on this. I love the top down, but love the CS.

CS wheels on a spider would be HOT... thats a hard one, being in SoCal i'd want the topless option.

I am dealing with the same issue, although the CS is just incredible, the top down is a lot of fun as well.

They are both very nice cars, I can't afford either right now. If I could I would chose the CS but that is because I enjoy taking my car to the track more then just driving it around town. So it depends what you enjoy doing most with your car :)

I had the same dilemma and went the CS way. It is a tough choice, but it comes down to how special you think the CS is.

Spyder is just open top 360. It drives the same (if not worse) as the regular 360. The only added bonus is the open top and you have to give that a value by yourselves. I just think the CS is more special having special engine, special interior, special body...and at the end, very special in how it drives.

It would be best to have a CS engine (not mod-up 360 unit) dropped in to the Spyder, find a way to lighten the Spyder to the CS's weight, stiffen the body, put the ceramic brake and CS suspension on.... Now...that's a dream 360.

I actually like the "normal" 360 look better ... I like the rims better than CS, I like the front design better, and the rear-view mirrors. But looks like most people are saying go with the CS.

Ooohhhh, it's a hard decision! I love the top down aspect of the Spider and I don't have the time to do track days. So the CS would purely be used as a road car, albeit a very special one.

I want the CS as it's dynamically a better car and it's a limited run. I want to keep the 360 for it's summer cruise ability. But if I keep it, I need to tweek it as it's not enough left as stock for me for the time being.

It's interesting that the views are split and not massively weighted one way or the other!

I considered both cars. There are times for both cars.
I like them both equally. But the spider was my first convertible. If I were a more experienced Fcar driver then I probably would have opted for the CS. I can see having both. Ask Jeffrey he has two!
