I was doing some surgery to the HVAC module circuit board. I cracked what I think is a thermistor. It's blue in color labled PTC1 and is about the size of a quarter. Does anyone know the resistance value at room temp? And if this is indeed a thermistor? My heat is inop. Everything else works. It just quit blowing heat. Also if someone has a schematic of this thing I would be very gratefull. I have a 99 F355 Spider. #19/100. Help! Mike P.

Mike, I have a HVAC control board open right now - I'll measure the blue thing's resistance tomorrow after I get a new battery in the multimeter.

Mine blows out cold air as well. Is there a common fix?

Silly observation here, but I thought my heater was not working on my 98 355 until I pushed the big "stop" button on the console so that it popped up. Same thing with the A/C. I need to read the manual.....

Believe me, I know all about the "Stop Button". That's not the cause. I was thinking maybe I should do the Batt kill for 5 minutes and see what happens. Yep, I'm gonna do that right now. Still need to know the resistance value of the blue Thermistor at room temp in the HVAC module. The blue thing.

I'm getting 0.3 ohm across the blue round thing. The actual measurement on the screen is 0.5 but it reads 0.2 with the two leads touching each other. The temp is 65 deg. F. Hope this helps.
