    hi guys sorry but this is my first ferrari. I have a question, every when and what kind of service do i need for my car? called a dealer today and they advice for a fluid change $1200-$1400 every year and a major service$12000 to $14000 every 3 years regardless of miles.( whether i use it or not). Is that true? or its just a way for me to pay service often?

    What type of FCar and year did you buy? When you called 'a dealer', was it a Ferrari dealer? I have a '77 308. A 30K service on this car at the Ferrari dealer is about $7K. $5K at a good FCar mechanic's shop and $1K in parts and $1K for labor and a case of really good beer and a steak dinner for a buddy of mine that would do it, who is an extremely meticulous mechanic.

    From your profile I'm assuming that you're talking about a 355. Those quotes seem to be too much. I have the oil changed every yeear and the brake fluid changed as well. BUt I do put on some miles. the major service is 5 year or 30k miles, not three years.
