    LOW LOW LOW

    Get a real Job.
Stand On the side of a highway near cross bronx and film the guys that drive fast at night there. See how your "sexy" face will look after that.

Yes i am sure brad was aware of the fact that he was going to be on your DVD but i am 100% sure that he did not agree to be put his face and car on TV as a drag racer. Making a DVD on high performance cars is one thing but smiling in front of a TV camera and glowing in the fact that you drive 200 mph and do stupid donuts is another.

I have met a bunch of F-Chatters and found all to be good people. But many people have preset notion of exotic car drivers and that segment will not help. Made you guys look like a bunch of childish selfish brats who are willing to put the public at risk just so you can make a buck. Sad day for all exotic drivers

Just because backyard wrestling videos and the like have, to your knowledge, not engendered any official action (and you'd be wrong in at least one instance - there was a notorious F40 speeding video from Europe in which the driver was tracked down and thrown in jail), doesn't mean it won't happen here. There isn't an immunity for illegal activity put on video.

All it takes is a law enforcement agent with the time and the motivation to pursue it. They question you, subpoena you if necessary, and find out the names and addresses of everyone on the video.

I'm not saying this will happen. Law enforcement are obviously really busy doing lots of stuff. But if enough people make a stink about it, particularly after this segment, I see no reason why they wouldn't pursue it to make an example.

This is all fact. You hope it won't happen. That doesn't mean it won't. You have jeopardized countless people on this board.

Um, when was the last time you seen a exotic car video portraying drivers as "good people?" I see your very heated about this, as well as some others but really it is what it is. Rob is correct in my opinion, there are countless videos out there with footage like this, and to blame him for telling his side of the story is unfair. I'm not in any way shape or form saying the segment was productive or postive, but when was the last time you seen a segment on tv saying "Exotic cars gather together for a run to help fight cancer" with cars cruising at low speeds with people smiling?

If i didn't someone else would have stepped into my spot. Look up the date line stories or go google "superspeeders" The same story has been covered over and over again all over the country because of a growing trend of people going 100+ on highways in the last few years.
No one looks at an exotic car driver doing 55 in the right lane and says "thats one of those ******* speed deamons" and if they do...what the hell you care then. I am done in this thread, have a field day.

If you think that this had no potential for harm, you are only kidding yourself.

It's not the making of the video. It's not the EC tats all over the place. It's everything combined. Most importantly, it's going on national tv and drawing attention to it all. Yes, the story is nothing new. But drawing attention to a video in which many here are prominently featured is highly reckless.

It's going to take someone with the motivation to do it, but like I said anything is possible. They want to make an example and they pursue it and bring everything down. No reason whatsoever why it can't happen. I think it unlikely because law enforcement has limited reasources and they have bigger fish to fry.

All it needs is some law enforcement guy who has the time and motivation to do it. Question and subpoena you, ask you who is in the video - names and addresses. It is not hard to find out who everyone is and make their lives very difficult.

Unlikely doesn't mean impossible. And your going on tv drawing attention to the video makes it that much more likely that IF some department decides to pursue a case to make an example, they now have a perfect line of evidence with which to do so. If you truly think this has no potential for harm, you're more irresponsible than I thought.

They said in the segment that people driving over a 100mph had gone up by 300%, so obvisously a widely known trend.

Actually, funny that you mention that. There's going to be a news story about exactly that topic in a few weeks. A bunch of us are getting together to give rides in exotic cars to sick kids at the Ronald McDonald House here in NYC.

I'm not saying there wasn't segments like this, its just not as popular. I have seen 1 or 2 segments with exotic cars supporting a cause.

In my view the image will be the same, people will still stare at a Ferrari and Lamborghini because of it's looks and potential. 10 years from now the model line will become more faster and exotic, the prices will be expensive, and the brands of exotic cars will have postives and negatives in terms of repuation....

New law in Suffolk county will take effect shortly. Caught "street racing" and they will confiscate your car on the spot and make arrests. So some areas are taking more notice.

Your right, The Idiot driver will kill someone going 200MPH on roads that were never intended for those speeds. If you want to show your driving skills simply go to the track.

This TV segment really didn't paint a nice picture of any of us, and I really think that the Police are going to come down hard on one or many of us if we get caught speeding in the near future.

And I also wouldn't be surprised after seeing that show if the insurance companies and/or Police don't come looking for us individually.

I can just picture roll call after that show, "Get those bastards ,They made us look stupid" doubt anyone going to be cut any slack if pulled over. We all speed from time to time but trying to profit on it makes it look really stupid. Maybe it was the editing but they sure made it sound like Rob did not care about the publics safety and only cared about making a buck. On the bright side it seems his little infomercial has increased sales of his video

The segment was mostly about extremely fast highway drving , not about the fact that people are trying to profit on it. For example the guy speeding at 120mph in the holland tunnel, he said he put the video of it on a forum, their was no mention of him profiting on it. Also the limo driver, just another example of people speeding, nothing to do with personal profit. It seems that the safety of others on the highway is your main concern, a point well taken; but can you explain NJ state troopers speeding at 110mph in the left lane, I sure can't.
