Simple. Just post pictures of the Coolest Car/s you saw today or whenever. If you dont have a picture just dont lie to much! Today I saw: Lotus Esprit BMW 645
Well I am going to start with a couple of weeks ago because they haven't worn off yet. 412MI Alfa TZ2 Alfa/Autodelta GTA (lightweight) Wed 11-16 Motorcycles Vincent Black Shadow Vincent Rapide Vincent Black Lightning Velocette Thruxton 1939 Royal Enfield KH 966 V twin (still in original paint and condition) 1971 Rickman Enfield (not mine) Thursday 11-17 Bentley Continental
today (well, yesterday now): Carerra GT Murcielago spyeder Diablo 360 Modena Continetal GT I stopped by BGC on the way back from Michigan Ave.
I rarely see any cool cars around downtown. Last really cool car was Rob's 355 Challenge in Texas two weeks ago. Pic in my profile.
There was a red 308 last night parked just off the freeway in the parking lot of an ulholstery place just south of Madison. Saw it on the way back from Chicago. Didn't see squat in Chicago. A few 911s. A Boxster. Actually one cool black Benz with black wheels. Not much downtown though.
What you came down to the Windy City and didn't tell me! I'm hurt, I thought that I owned you a beer and a ride in my toy.
I drove a Porsche GT2 yesterday. Knocked my socks off. You can say what you want about P-cars but you can't argue with POWER.
I told you I don't want a ride in that thing.... It will just make me feel bad about the "less than 270HP" I "enjoy" in my Italian jallopy!! You want to know something funny?? My wife and I were in Louis Vuitton on Michigan Ave. and she was buying a bag, a wallet, AND a scarf. I was standing there trying to catch my breath. And the whole time I was thinking........ "Why does she buy these things??" People are going to think they are fake anyway and the fake ones look the same and are probably BETTER quality!!! Ironic huh??
Spasso, You can't post here. This is the Chicago section. Go back to your section!!! ;-) Sincerely, Madison, WI Ferrari Owner
Gee whiz............................... I'm on the same longitude. It gets dark here at 4:30 pm and doesn't get light until 8:00 am. Does that help?
I know!! That's why I put "Madison, WI Ferrari Owner" at the bottom. Just trying to be funny. I am ALWAYS trolling around on the Chicago section (instead of my own WI section). I was having a little fun by poking fun of myself at the same time. Maybe Spasso didn't get it?? I sent him a PM to let him know I was kidding.
Nothing impressive today... Past month it was a black Porsche CGT that was offered to me at an unbelievable price. But Im broke... regardless, as of today it is my favorite supercar to look at and admire. This year/summer during my bachelor party in Vegas saw a XJ220 which looks amazing in person. Coolest cars in terms of character/owner/looks/location/etc. was probably a few of Jordan's Ferraris and using my old 575 as a prop in my wedding will live with fond memories for quite a while. Coolest car I drove this year that I wasn't familiar with was definitely the DB9. I am a big GT car fan and the sound of the exhaust, Vanquish type looks, decent performance was entertaining. But Im still surprised over the lack of fit and finish inside the car ( arm rests and glove box parts were falling off, ) and surprised at how cramped it felt inside, ( as Im about 6 foot 4 inches tall. ) RocketBoy
I can imagine. Ever seen the SNL spoof where Paris Hilton goes shopping for a LV bag? She ends up with a miniscule pouch for contacts.
I got it, just playing it up a bit. WI must really SUCK if you have to resort to hanging out in Chi section for kicks. (not that theres anything wrong with that)
Our last POST was from the 18th........ I was thinking of posting a "Hey I have nothing to say, but wanted to update the "Last Post" date so it looks like we aren't dead." Serious. I was SERIOUSLY thinking about it........
saw a nice yellow elise at the lincoln mercury dealer on ogden, then a rollys royce at the light of ogden and cass.
